Architectural Significance

Traditionally dated c. 1720, this is a 2 story center plan house with a l story rear el, wood shingle siding, an entrance with sidelights and fully enframed windows containing 6/6 wood sash. This house is one of the oldest houses in Pratt Town.

Historical Significance

Further research is needed to determine an 18th century owner for this house. J.E. Crane's map of Prattown in 1801 shows this house labeled Samuel Brooker. By the mid 1850s, an L. Leonard lived here. By the late 1870s, Sylvanus P. Pope, Lawyer, owned this house. This house appears labeled Johnson on the 1903 atlas.
