This is a handsome, well preserved example of an Italianate frame vernacular house. It is composed of a side hall plan main block with cross gables and a 1 1/2 story side ell. To the immediate south of this house is a similarly rendered stable/garage which is also in good condition. Noteworthy features include elegant full length windows which open on to a porch with champfered posts. In general, windows are fully enframed, cornice headed and contain 2/2 sash. At the attic level is a narrow arched window with molded enframement and a "keystone."
