Architectural Significance
This is a solid, well-preserved Queen Anne house with a boxy, rectangular plan. It rises 2 stories from a rubble stone foundation to a hip roof with tin shingles.
Historical Significance
This house was built at some point in the 1890s. It is part of one of Bridgewater's very few late 19th c. subdivisions of Queen Anne houses. The development of Aldenville is linked with the post 1886 expansion of the nearby state prison. The 1903 atlas does not indicate an owner for this property.
