Architectural Significance

This is a simple, side hall plan c. 1870 1 1/2 story cottage. Together with large unspoiled rural/agrarian parcels and modest 19th cottage, this house provides a glimpse of a pre 1900 Southeastern, MA country village.

Historical Significance

This house first appears on the 1879 atlas labeled W. B. Bush (presumably a farmer, papermill worker or cotton gin maker). In 1903 a D. Hall owned this property.
