Historical Significance
Together with its remarkably intact pre-1900 landscape features, this attractive Cape Cod cottage provides a glimpse of a c. early 1830s Bridgewater farm. During the 19th and early 20th centuries it was owned by a branch of the Wilbur family—George Wilbur apparently built this house—by the 1870s Theodore C. Wilbur, farmer and carpenter, lived here.
